Bake hardening (BH) steels gain additional yield strength (30-50 MPa increase) during the paint baking cycle in automotive assembly, resulting in improved dent resistance in the final part. We supply BH210, BH250, and BH300 grades. Used for automotive outer body panels including hoods, doors, fenders, and trunk lids where both good formability during stamping and high dent resistance in service are required. Available in cold rolled and electro-galvanized conditions.
